Iain has an unrivaled experience in local publishing having worked at the forefront of the magazine industry on the Costa del Sol for more than 25 years. His degrees in pure mathematics and business administration, and the expertise he has gained locally have lead to essential becoming the leading luxury lifestyle title in southern Spain, well-known and respected internationally during its many year's trajectory. 

Having been with essential since day one, Andrea is integrally involved with all aspects of the business. Graphic and web designer, IT specialist and general manager of the firm while also established a respected design brand 'Ultra Design' to help clients create their corporate image, produce their own publications or websites to the highest standards.

Marisa has a degree in Law and Arts, majoring in Ancient History and Literature. Having worked as a teacher and Director of Studies, her passion lies in the English language and management. At essential, she is responsible for coordinating contributors and for writing numerous articles, including beauty, fashion, health and art.

With a degree in International marketing and experience of publishing gained with the Financial Times in London, Susanne joined the essential team in 2002. She works directly with our clients and acts as the main point of contact for all design queries and incoming artwork.

Mariano has a degree and MBA in business administration and was previously employed as a University lecturer in accountancy in his native Argentina. Since arriving in Marbella he has specialised in the real estate market, but eventually settled with essential and is now responsible for all client accounts.

Monika plays a key part in the team as the first point of contact for all incoming calls and visitors to the essential offices. With a degree in property management, her main functions are to manage the reception area, to offer support to the accounts department and to deal with the administration.

Inma was studying for a degree in Advertising and Public Relations at the University of Málaga when her interest in graphic design began. After completing several further design courses she worked as a freelance designer for other publications and advertising agencies in Marbella before joining the essential team in 2005.

Melinda has been working as a professional graphic designer since 2000 on prestigious national titles such as Glamour. Her passion lies in bringing the pages to life and she finds nothing more thrilling than holding a new edition straight off the press in her hands. At essential, she specialises in laying out parts of the fashion, trend and restaurant sections as well as feature articles and advertising pages.

Jan has a degree in business and marketing and is fluent in many languages. He will be your point of contact if you would like to start advertising with essential magazine or are looking for a quote for new corporate design, artwork or a website. Jan has been representing essential for over five years now and has a world of experience in the advertising/marketing sector. 

After achieving top International ranking as a junior tennis professional, Réka went on for a degree in management for the paper & packaging industry. Running a photo retail shop for 11 years combined with events organization has given her considerable experience in sales and customer service. Réka is with essential magazine as a sales executive and is responsible for the web advertising management.
