As we enter November, which for much of the rest of Europe brings dark and dismal increasingly shorter days, those of us residing in or visiting Marbella can reflect on how fortunate we are to wake up each morning, usually to another sunny day with welcome temperatures.

This month’s has a full quota of great articles so get ready to be entertained. Barcelona features strongly in these pages, with a review of some of the lesser known highlights and a report on the Smart City Expo World Congress being held there this month. We also stopover at the highly evocative Hotel Arts with its signature Frank Gehry structure linking the hotel to the gardens, and experience what the great Adriàs are up to in the city – Albert with elBarri and Ferran with the exciting Enigma.

Elsewhere in this issue, check where cryptocurrency is going from here, see sublime Scandinavian sophistication courtesy of Bo Concept, and marvel at the incredible vista proffered by the appropriately named new Marbella development, The View. Motorheads will be in their element with our twin features on the new Mercedes CLS and Singer re-modelling of the iconic Porsche 911.

Personality wise, we interview renowned interior designer, Eric Kuster, chat with Mugge Fischer and Ose del Sol from Grupo Artenovum, and present Kenza Carlson, PR for the Marbella Club. Finally, don’t miss these virtuoso dining experiences: FELIX at Healthouse Las Dunas and Posidonia Banús.
